Mountain ski partners are great

Ski Partners at Silver Star ski resort will guide skiers and snowboarders around the mountain for free

Anna and Janette, two ski partners at Silver Star mountain resort

Many resorts in Canada have volunteer mountain guides to show new people around the mountain. Sun Peaks and Silver Star are two mountains that have daily tours of the mountain’s runs. The guides are sensitive to the level of skiing and can lead the group to runs that they may not have ventured down.

The guides at Silver Star ski resort are called ‘Ski Partners’. It’s a great way to explore the mountain and find new runs for your level of skiing. Glade skiing is not on the agenda however, and many black runs are not included. At Silver Star, the only black runs that guides can go to are Holy Smokes, Bon Diablo and The Rush.

Meet the Silver Star ski partners in the village at 9.30 am and 1.15 in the afternoon for a three hour tour of the Silver Star ski resort terrain. Your tour may include some or all of: Vance Creek, Silver Woods, Putnam Creek and Attridge.
