Olympic Gold for Canada’s men’s ice hockey team

Canadians deck out in their national colours for the ice hockey competition at the Vancouver Winter Olympics
For all who have been following the Olympic Games in Vancouver, the men’s ice hockey competition for Gold has been a thriller. With the USA team having a dream run to the final for Gold, it was team Canada that was under pressure to lift their game.
According to some commentators, USA had not trailled in one of the lead up games to the final then found themselves down 0–2 before equalising the game with 24 seconds remaining in the third period. That lead to a 20-minute extension of play during which team Canada shot the winning goal.
Goosebumps as we all listened to the Canadian National Anthem. What a way to end the Winter Olympics in Vancouver 2010.
Let’s not forget that the Canadian women’s ice hockey team won Gold too. Go Canada!
