Ski Whistler Blackcomb
About Whistler Blackcomb
One cannot write about Canadian ski mountains without including Whistler Blackcomb. Tell someone in Australia you are going to ski in Canada and their response inevitably is ‘Whistler?’.
Whistler Blackcomb is the largest ski resort in Canada. According to their website, Whistler has the greatest vertical terrain for skiing and snowboarding riding in North America with 8,000 acres of skiable terrain. Those who have skied Whistler say that the mountain is truly massive; the runs go on forever.
Whistler caters for downhill skiers and snowboarders and cross country skiers. Heli-skiing is also a feature of the winter activities.
